The built-in microprocessor then compares the captured fingerprint data with pre-stored templates in the system.
The recognition algorithm is highly efficient, with a false acceptance rate (FAR) as low as one in a million, meaning accidental unlocks are nearly impossible. Meanwhile, the false rejection rate (FRR) is controlled within 0.3%, significantly reducing the chance of a registered fingerprint being denied access. The entire process takes less than 0.2 seconds, allowing for instant unlocking with just a touch. This eliminates the hassle of carrying physical keys while minimizing risks like loss or theft.
Facial Recognition Technology
The facial recognition system in TINNO’s entry door represents cutting-edge smart security technology. When a person approaches within 1 meter, the proximity sensor detects their presence and activates facial recognition.
Using computer vision, AI, and pattern recognition, the system scans and tracks facial features, analyzing key elements such as the position and shape of facial contours. These features are then converted into a digital model and matched against pre-registered data in the database. A **liveness detection sensor plays a crucial role here, distinguishing real faces from photos or masks to prevent spoofing attempts.
Upon a successful match, the door unlocks automatically; if not, access is denied. Additionally, the system supports multi-point recognition and management, allowing data and access permissions to be shared across different entry points—ideal for families and visitors.
APP Control Technology
With the dedicated TINNO APP, users can remotely control their entry door. After connecting the door to the home network via the app, they can lock or unlock it from anywhere with an internet connection.
